How it gets stopped
Sometimes it is silt fence and seed on a freshly graded slope. Sometimes it is regrading so water sheds instead of cutting a channel, rock lining a ditch, armouring a creek bank, or building a retaining wall. Most jobs combine two or three of those.

My yard is washing away every time it rains. What fixes it?
Usually a combination: regrading so the water spreads out instead of channelling, and giving it a lined path off the property. Bare slopes also need cover — seed, mulch or rock — before the next storm.
Do you repair creek banks damaged by flooding?
Yes. Rock placement and bank rebuilding are part of the work. Work in a stream can need a permit, which is raised before anything starts.
Is erosion control only for construction sites?
No. Most calls are homeowners with a washing slope, a gullied yard or a drive losing its edge.
