A new septic system is a permit, a design and a lot of precise digging. Hazy River handles the excavation and site preparation: opening the tank hole, cutting the drain field trenches to the depth and fall on the plan, backfilling and grading afterwards.

Slope and soil matter
In the mountains, where a septic system can go is decided by slope, soil and rock. The digging has to follow the approved layout exactly, which is why it pays to have an operator used to mountain ground.
With the rest of the site
Septic work usually happens alongside clearing, pad work and the drive. Doing them with one company keeps the sequence right and the site from being dug twice.

Do you install septic systems?
Yes. Hazy River does septic installation for new systems, from the tank hole to the drain field. The system needs a county permit and approved design before any digging starts.
Do you pump septic tanks?
No. This is excavation work, not pumping or inspection.
